What They’ll Experience
SquashRx New Canaan will be hosting intensive squash camps this summer at our four court facility on the beautiful campus of St. Luke's School. The SquashRx pros will be delivering a challenging and fun training experience for players of all levels eight years and older.
Itinerary
Squash Camp daily schedule includes:
Introduction of daily themes and pro video analysis
Dynamic warmup
Technical skill sessions focusing on particular shots and footwork patterns
Tactical sessions focused on developing good decision-making under pressure
Workout of the Day focused on squash-specific fitness with an emphasis on strength, power and stamina
Circuits focused on speed, agility, coordination
Solo hitting exercises to develop accuracy and consistency
Mental preparation exercises to develop strategies for maintaining focus and dealing with pressure
Match practice
Mobility and recovery sessions
**6/23-6/27 Chess Camp Bundle
Squash is often referred to by players, coaches, and parents alike and "Physical Chess". Both games demand focus, strategy, and intuition. SquashRx has teamed up with 32 Pieces Chess Club to build on that connection by offering a 90-minute afternoon Chess Camp for the camp week taking place 6/23-6/27, designed to sharpen the mind after an active morning on court.
Open to both beginners and intermediate chess players, the camp combines personalized instruction and guided practice with a US Chess Federation-rated tournament on 6/27, offering campers the chance to take their progress with them. Campers will explore all phases of the game—openings, middlegame tactics, and endgame strategy—while enjoying a mix of puzzles, variant games, and friendly competition. Led by certified tournament directors and coaches from 32 Pieces Chess Club, this add-on experience is the perfect mental complement to a day of squash.
Cancellation Policy
A full refund minus a $25 processing fee is available up to 14 days before the start date of each session. No makeups or cancellations once within 14 days of the start date of each session.
We must plan and prepare every class, therefore class schedules are fixed and cancellations or no shows to a scheduled class are non-refundable.
SquashRx reserves the right to cancel classes due to instructor illness, insufficient enrollment, inclement weather or any other reason that makes it necessary to do so. In the event of such a cancellation, SquashRx will offer a make up class. You will be notified of any cancellation prior to the class via the contact information you provided at registration.
